My Philosophy
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed behavioral specialist and therapist, I have a real passion for helping kids, adults, and families in Western Pennsylvania. I am a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned both my bachelor's and master's in social work there. I take a big-picture, holistic approach to therapy and often use techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and really understanding how someone's environment impacts them. As the Founder and CEO of Urban Therapy LLC, I am dedicated to providing mental health support to individuals in underserved urban communities who've been affected by things like trauma, racism, and oppression.
